The CPOA works for you:

  • Helping neighbors connect
  • Enabling you to be part of a bigger voice
  • Communicating regularly with Chautauqua Institution (CHQ) Administration
  • Providing resources to facilitate access to CHQ Administration information  
  • Hosting speakers 


The CPOA advocates for you through:

  • On-going communication with CHQ Administration through our CPOA Member Advocate relationship
  • The Message Board on thecpoa.org to engage with the CPOA community
  • Direct communication with your Area Representative
  • Member surveys and community forums on topics of concern 


The CPOA builds community by hosting social and networking events such as the Week 0 dinner, porch chats and picnics.


We are an independent member driven organization that works closely with the CHQ Administration to enhance the Chautauqua experience.
